Howdy, Diana!
I'm so glad you have planned to spend an evening at the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation. In my opinion, it is a classic, must-do Disney experience that you have to enjoy at least once in your lifetime. I love the food, the music and the slapstick humor. You can't help but walk out of Pioneer Hall at the end of the show with a huge smile on your face.
I think that your plan to enjoy the fireworks over Cinderella Castle after your dinner show is a great one. You could watch Happily Ever After from the dock at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort just steps away from Pioneer Hall or you could take Disney transportation to get a bit closer to Magic Kingdom Park. If you have theme park admission for the day, you could enter Magic Kingdom Park and watch Happily Ever After from Main Street U.S.A. or from the castle forecourt area. If you don't intend to enter the park, you can catch a great view of the fireworks from the back of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. That's one of my favorite fireworks-viewing areas. To reach this destination, hop on a Magic Kingdom-bound boat at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Then transfer to the resort monorail. Simply follow this plan in reverse to get back to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort (and your car) after the fireworks.
Do plan on arriving at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort at least an hour before your seating of the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. You'll be parking near the entrance of that resort and then you will board an internal resort bus to reach Pioneer Hall. It's a fun ride, but you want to give yourself time to reach your destination. You won't want to miss even a moment of the show.
Please enjoy some fried chicken and strawberry shortcake for me!
Best wishes,
Jill
