hi we have a 8am booking for in the park and i wanted to know what would be the best way to get to the magic kingdom at that time in the morning. we would be driving from a hotel outside the parks, would transportation be working that early?

Welcome Sophia! Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It is always great to start off your magical day with an early reservation at the Magic Kingdom Park. You will have a long day for having fun!
To arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, you have to drive to TTC (Transportation and Ticket Center), adjacent to Magic Kingdom parking, and from there you will take the monorail or ferryboat to access park entrance. Complimentary transportation usually starts running one hour before park opening.
By the park entrance, you will note there is usually one special entrance for those with early reservations. There is a sign and a Cast Member nearby to assist you. Make sure you have your reservation number and a valid park admission ticket. I encourage you to arrive at the park entrance at least 20 to 30 minutes in advance of your reservation. You will have enough time for bag checking and for taking many wonderful pictures of an almost empty Magic Kingdom Park.
Hope this helps your planning. Come back to visit us again if you have further questions.
    Have a fantastic day!
