We are booking our own shuttle from Port Canaveral to the Orlando Airport. What time does one get off a Disney Cruise on the day it arrives in port? I am not sure what time to tell our shuttle to pick us up.

    Hi Charish!

Welcome!  Thank you for sailing by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation!  I don’t know about you, but January seems to be flying by for me which means your vacation will be here before you know it!

So much fun awaits you onboard and I am sure you that final morning will be a little bittersweet for you as I always do.  I am usually eager to get back home and back to our routine, but after having so much fun on your Disney Cruise you just won’t want to leave!  Hopefully you’ll have taken advantage of the future cruise booking specials available onboard so you will have another Disney Cruise Line vacation to look forward to when you disembark which will make it a little less difficult to leave when the time comes.

On that final morning all Guests are asked to disembark by 9:30AM so that the Cast Members can get the ship ready for the new group of Guests that will be boarding later that day.  Breakfast is served in the main dining rooms or at Cabanas buffet on that final morning and then disembarkation begins around 8:00AM.  The day before disembarkation you will receive luggage tags that you will affix on your bags when you set them out the night before disembarkation for your stateroom host and hostesses to transfer for you to the cruise terminal.  After disembarking you will collect your luggage and will be ready to meet your transportation outside the cruise terminal.  Since disembarkation begins around 8:00AM I would safely say that anytime 9:00AM or later would be a good time for your transportation to arrive.  Also, most of those private transportation companies understand the system and are used to waiting if need be for you to make it out of the terminal.

Wishing you a memorable adventure at sea!

    Happy Sailing!
