when is booking open for October 2022?

Greetings Kathy, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by to visit us as your dream of sunnier days in the Most Magical Place on Earth. I'd be happy to assist you today.

While Elsa is still making things frosty up north, and I long for Olaf-approved weather, one of my favorite things to do is plan my summer vacations. With the recent announcement of Walt Disney World's 18 months long 50th-anniversary celebration, the fall of 2022 should be a fantastic time to visit. My family and I are so excited about the enhancements to the theme park icons and the debut of new attractions like Remy's Ratatouille Adventure and Tron Lightcycle Run. Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog and check out planDisney on social media as the magic unfolds.

Kathy, you must be so anxious to officially get your adventure on the books and let the countdown begin, but you will have to wait just a bit longer. Currently, Disney Vacation Packages can be booked through early July of 2022, but I recommend checking back in late-May or June when your dates should be available for booking. I will keep my fingers crossed that international travel will be part of our world by then, and you'll feel like Princess Anna on coronation day; finally they're opening up the gates!

I hope this is helpful, and that you can start planning your vacation soon. Please come see us again with any questions that come up throughout the process. We're all ears!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
