Hello, when booking online on the WDW site for B.C. Villas, beside the 1 Bedroom Villa option it reads in orange "disney pick". What does this mean? When checking various dates it pops up under some dates & not on other dates. Thank you fo

    Hi Lynn,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I love a stay at Disney's Beach Club Villas.  The feel there is so quaint and the beach theme is so much fun.

I called to check on the "Disney Pick" label that you are seeing as you search online for available villas.  The cast member let me know that it means that it is a popular accommodation at that resort at that time, and therefore might sell out quickly.  She compared it to a "chef's special" on a restaurant menu: it is what Disney recommends for your party size on that date.

I have to say, I would pick a one-bedroom villa at Disney's Beach Club Villas!  The walking distance to Epcot is amazing - just a few minutes and you are in World Showcase.  It also has one of my favorite places to eat at Walt Disney World, Beaches & Cream Soda Shop.  This is a must do for my family on nearly every trip!  Many guests enjoy trying to conquer the huge Kitchen Sink Sundae, but for my small family of three, the No Way Jose with its smaller size and chocolate and peanut butter are just right for us.  We also love a one-bedroom villa because it gives us separate sleeping and living spaces.  That way, if my daughter is ready to go to bed she heads into the bedroom, and my husband and I can still stay up and socialize in the the living area.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Lynn.  Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
