Hi there, Jennifer, and welcome back to planDisney! I'm absolutely thrilled that you've decided to trust me and my Panelist pals with your questions about planning a
Walt Disney World Resort vacation. As you know, we are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests! From one Jennifer to another, I'm glad to provide some insights into booking a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel.
Jennifer, you and I are both (not-so-patiently) waiting for booking to open up for November 2025 and beyond! At this time, we aren't sure when that will happen, but what I'll do, and what I suggest you do, is keep an eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website, official Disney social media accounts, and the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates. In terms of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, it sounds like you might be describing what many Guests call a "split-stay." This is where you stay in one Disney hotel and move to another Disney hotel at some point during your stay. These types of reservations are treated as separate bookings, so you'll have two different reservations. Split-stays are very popular because they allow you to experience a variety of transportation, dining, and theming all within one visit. Moreover,
Bell Services at your hotel will be thrilled to transport your luggage from your first hotel to the second - it's a complimentary service!
My advice to you would be to get an idea of which Disney Resorts Collection hotels you might want to call "home" during your vacation, so that you're ready to book as soon as the dates become available. If you're considering a split-stay, you might want to choose hotels in different locations, like Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Beach Club Resort, or Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney's Riviera Resort. No matter which Resort you choose, you're sure to have an absolute blast!
Jennifer, please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have as you plan this incredible vacation. I'd be happy to share my insights with you anytime!
See you real soon!
Jennifer
