Booking March cruise on the DW. My DS will be almost 3 and too big for a pack n play. What are the twin convertible sofas like? Do they offer bed rails? Also, how early in the day should we plan to arrive at the airport to get transfer to the port?

Personally, I prefer to fly in the day prior to a cruise. I have experienced too many travel delays (traffic, cancelled flights, late flights, etc.) to trust that my family will get to the ship in time. Instead, we like to fly in the day prior to the cruise and not have to stress about getting to the port in time. Many guests that fly in early stay at or near the airport or near the port. Some travelers stay at WDW for one night.

If you choose to fly in on the same day, I would get the earliest flight possible. That way, if any travel delays occur, you'll have a better chance of getting to the port before the ship is closed for boarding.

Without travel delays, the trip from the Orlando International airport to Port Canaveral takes about an hour. If you have purchased ground transfers, a Disney Cruise Line rep will meet you at the airport to direct you to a motorcoach. I would arrive the airport by 1:30 at the absolute latest.

My son has always slept very well on the twin convertible sofa. And best of all, each evening the Room Steward will convert the sofa into a bed and your tired child will be able to crawl right in! It is a full twin size bed with a comfortable mattress.

Complimentary bed rails are available from your Stateroom Host upon request.
