Hi I have a booking for lunch at Tonys Town Sq 8th July, do they offer preferential viewing of the parade. We attended back in 2018 and they allowed guests who had booked lunch access to a roped off area to watch the parade. Is this still the case?

    Hi Craig,

Welcome to planDisney! I am thrilled to hear that you are planning a visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort! Tony's Town Square Restaurant is one of our favorite dining locations in Magic Kingdom. I remember the dining package that gave access to a special viewing area for the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. We loved sitting at that special viewing location on Main Street, U.S.A. watching the parade. Currently, that parade viewing package is not offered. I will add that my family often makes an advanced dining reservation and we request to sit on the outdoor patio (if available) or the indoor patio area. From either location we have been able to see at least some of the parade while dining. Just be sure to double-check the time of the parade and the restaurant hours for the days of your visit!

If you are looking for a few experiences that will give you access to special viewing areas, consider a few fireworks dessert packages - Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise, Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties: Post Party, Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Pre-Party, and Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party: Seats and Sweets. Although my family has not done a dessert cruise, it is an experience we hope to have in the very near future. I have enjoyed a few dessert parties and they have each been fantastic.

If you have not yet done so, take a look at all of the experiences available in the Enchanting Extras Collection. My family loves to try at least one new experience on each visit. On our most recent visit, I did the Behind the Seeds Tour as a treat to myself and it was so interesting. We have also done Caring for Giants and Up Close with Rhinos at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Craig, I know the excitement is growing in your household as your trip nears! Let the packing begin. And do stop by with more questions if you need help finalizing those plans!

    Magic and memories,
