Jambo Holly!
Welcome to planDisney. It looks like you and your family will soon be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth. Visiting with family is always the best way to create memories that will last a lifetime. Our family really loves
Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Taking a ride through the African Savannah on Kilimanjaro Safaris is one of our favorite things to do. You never know when you're going to run into a Giraffic Jam! Let’s see if we can help with your question so you can get back to your planning.
Alrighty so you can absolutely make this happen. What you will do is purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Passes for everyone in your party, including your Dad. If you don’t know his availability for your morning at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, go ahead and book Lightning Lanes with him included for all of your experiences. If he cannot make it that morning, all you will need to do is modify your party and remove him from the rides at Animal Kingdom. From the home screen of the
My Disney Experience app, you can either tap on the Lightning Lane Multi Pass screen or go to your tip board. Find the ride, tap on the 3 dots next to it, modify your party by removing him, and then confirm your changes. You can still book him with your group for any Lightning Lanes you would like to experience later in the day and at another park. If, for some reason, you run into any issues, I would recommend that you stop by Guest Services, which you can find on the app’s map screen by scrolling to the Guest Services button. You will also see that they are identified in the parks with a giant blue umbrella. The friendly cast members here are super helpful and can assist with any issues that arise.
My favorite tip for using Lightning Lane Multi Pass is to remember that once you scan into your ride, you can book another pass while you wait in line. I would also monitor the My Disney Experience app for any rides that do not show a time slot you prefer. Guests frequently cancel their reservations, and you can then get their time slot.
Holly, I hope this helps and that you have a magical time visiting Walt Disney World. If you have any further questions, please stop back by, and one of my fellow panelists or I will be happy to assist.
Kwaheri!
