If after booking a lightning lane for a party, one of the members of the party decide not to go on the ride at the last minute will that person be able to choose another light lane after?Or will they have to tap in regardless?

Hey there, Tifany, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! Your Walt Disney World Vacation is right around the corner! I’m sure that by now your bags are packed and sitting next to the door.

Tiffany, booking a Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane Entrance for your entire vacation party is the best way to ensure everyone gets to experience the attraction together. If you have members of your party who ultimately decide not to board the attraction, that’s completely fine! When my vacation party is busy boarding attractions, I like to use my free time to grab a Disney Snack and enjoy it solo! If your vacation party guest does not experience the attraction, their Lightning Lane reservation will not automatically allow them to choose another attraction. With this in mind, I suggest that each Guest taps into the attraction even if they ultimately choose not to board. This way everyone in your group will be available to reserve the next Lightning Lane attraction as a group!

I hope this helps, Tifany! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation, stop back by and let me know
