We are booking January 2nd for 6 nights. Is it better to see Disney in June? If you had a preference which month would you go?

Hi Edward! I suppose you could ask this question to each of the panelists and get a wide range of answers so all I can do is give you my preference and why.

I would definitely head to Disney in January. Although you will have the marathon to deal with at the end of your trip I prefer the weather in January over the heat and humidity of June. January can be cold or just a bit chilly but you seem to have energy and can handle the long days in the parks better then when it is hot. June is hot and it also starts the daily storms that come over the summer each afternoon. The humidity can take a lot out of you and drain you by mid day.

Crowd wise January is definitely a lower number in the parks. Yes, the marathon does bring the extra guests but many are not in the parks each day and every day. June is summer crunch with families bringing their children who are now off from school and the crowd numbers really do jump up in the summer vacation months.

    My vote...January!
