Howdy, Jenny! Welcome to planDisney!
I love that you’re thinking ahead to 2027. Personally, I’m all about the art of planning ahead, and I am almost always thinking about my next Disney vacation. You’ve come to the right place for help!
As my fellow panelist Jessica notes, reservations for 2027 will likely open sometime this spring. Historically, I’ve seen reservations become available sometime in late spring or early summer. This is subject to change, but for planning purposes you may want to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog around that time just in case an announcement is made. The great thing about booking your vacation when the planning window opens is the fact that you’ll be able to make incremental payments on your vacation and pay it down on a schedule that works for your budget.
In the meantime while you wait for 2027 bookings to open I’d suggest making some important vacation decisions like which Walt Disney World Resort hotel you’ll want to stay at. There are over 20
Disney Resort hotels to choose from. Additionally, you’ll want to decide on your length of stay and how many park days you’ll need - the
Ticket Buying Guide can help you make that decision. My family loves to add a few resort days to the mix so we can enjoy the amenities and rest between park days. During winter visits, we like to choose a resort that has easy access to
Disney Springs so that we can also hang out there on resort days. Once those decisions are made, you’ll want to consider vacation add-ons such as a
Disney dining plan,
Enchanting Extras, and
Lightning Lane passes. When you're ready to book, definitely check out the
Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page for current deals and offers.
Finally, the most important tip I have for you is to have fun. Planning is really half the fun for me, so I know that you’ll enjoy this important research phase of planning your vacation. Come on back and let us know if you need any additional help with planning; we’re happy to help! We’ll see ya real soon!
Your pal,
Sakinah
