    We are booking the hotel w/Disney now for our trip on Jan 6th to ensure we get the room we want. However, it would be easier for us financially to wait until Jan 1st to purchase our park tickets though. Will we be able to link them to our room afterward?

    Great question!

    You've picked a great time to travel to Walt Disney World, too; that's the date of my very first trip to WDW 12 years ago, and I can still remember how light the crowds were and how temperate the weather had become by week's end. Great timing!

    Once you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel, you'll be able to have a Cast Member add your park tickets to your Key to the World Cards upon check in. We do this frequently, as we usually have Annual Passes and our friends / family traveling with us purchase tickets on their own. Adding their tickets to their Key to the World Cards has never been a problem, even though we stay in one large villa, which has one room account, so to speak.

    No worries! Go ahead and book your room and add your ticket on when you are ready to do so.
