Hi Rebecca and welcome to planDisney.
I actually experienced the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue with a large group of friends, last November and I can assure you that you're in for a hand-clappin', foot-stompin, root-tootin' good time!
When using the
Disney Dining Plan at this location, 2 Table-Service meals will be redeemed from the dining plan for each person dining and can be used for a seat in any of the three categories of seating available for the show.
You are absolutely right, Rebecca, that before the Disney Dining Plan returned, back in 2024, following a several-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, you could only book Category 2 or 3 seating, when using the Disney Dining Plan, except for the later show.
I would therefore highly recommend that you book Category 1 seats for the show, whilst they are still available. Although there isn't a bad seat in the house, Category 1 seating puts you right in the thick of the action.
Guests are asked to arrive 30 minutes prior to their reservation time to check in for the Dinner Show and as there is no direct route, other than taking a
Minnie Van, I would suggest that you allow at least 90 minutes to travel to Pioneer Hall if you will be using Disney's complimentary transportation.
The most direct route to The Settlement (where you will find Pioneer Hall) would be to travel to the
Magic Kingdom and then from there, take a
water taxi over to
Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. If you were to arrive at Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground by
bus (after transferring at one of the theme parks or Disney Springs), on arrival at the main entrance, you would need to transfer onto the internal shuttle bus to take you to The Settlement.
I do hope that this has answered your question. Please feel free to re-visit us, here at planDisney, if we can be of any further assistance with the planning of your summer trip to
Walt Disney World.
Wishing you a magical holiday filled with memories which will last a lifetime!
Emma
