Hi Kerry!
Thanks for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm thrilled to hear you're getting ready to book your first Disney Cruise! You're going to be amazed at all the Disney magic found on each deck, each day of your cruise! The Personal Navigator newsletter and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will have a schedule of each day's activities so you and your family won't miss a moment of fun!
We've sailed to Alaska aboard the Disney Wonder twice. The kids in our party went bananas sailing down the Tracy Arm fjord and seeing the Sawyer Glaciers up close from the ship. Even if there's a chill in the air, the pools are heated so the kiddos (and adults) can swim and play while sailing to "The Last Frontier"! The Port Adventures are very exciting, too! From a
Dog Sled Adventure by Helicopter to multiple whale watching excursions, your kiddos will have once-in-a-lifetime experiences! Disney Cruise Line even served hot chocolate on deck! I'll never forget being on deck, snuggling under blankets, while watching whales swimming off in the distance!
If you're thinking about sailing to a more tropical destination, your kids will love that, too! Choosing to cruise through the Caribbean will be so much fun! Many Caribbean itineraries stop at
Disney's private island, Castaway Cay! This is one of my favorite places on Earth. There are so many things to do and see while visiting the island. I highly recommend snorkeling for the entire family!
Kerry, your pirate crew is going to have a fantastic time no matter which itinerary you choose! Please come back with any additional questions while you plan your inaugural Disney Cruise! We're here to make your first voyage as smooth-sailing as possible!
