I am booking a family vacation for next year and have been looking at resorts. There are so many it is hard to choose!! What are you best recommendations on family of four resorts. Best bang for your buck? Most roomy is important to me. thanks!

    Hi Katie,

I am happy to help you think about which Walt Disney World resort hotel is right for you and your family! As you know, there are many resort hotels at Walt Disney World that have many options in price point, theme, location, and so much more. The wonderful news is that they will afford you the great benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

I suggest that you take a look at the first link I provided, which includes a list of all Walt Disney World resort hotels. Under the resort categories, take a moment to filter the resorts by category: look at the value resorts, then the moderate resorts, then the deluxe and deluxe villa resorts. You can start to get an idea of the price points available in each category. As you move in the price point from the lower to the higher, the room sizes will also tend to follow that trend, with the value resorts being smaller and the deluxe and deluxe villas larger. Within the value resorts, most of the rooms are about the same size. The same is true in the moderate category. At the deluxe and deluxe villa category, there is a bit more variation.

If you are looking for a room somewhere in the middle of the price points but with a little extra space, perhaps considering a moderate resort is right for you. I recently stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and found it to be delightful! Do take a look at the different themes and see which is most appealing to you. There is also now a great tool to help you compare Walt Disney World resort hotels side-by-side.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions, Katie!
