How and when should I be booking “extras” like guaranteed tickets to the shows? I’m 180 days away and dinner reservations are bookable as are princess meetings (albeit full already). But the shows don’t seem to be? Really want to book as soon as available!

    Bonjour!

Welcome to planDisney, Stewart! A big thank you for stopping by with your question today about your winter trip to Disneyland Paris. Now your trip is booked, I completely understand wanting to get those magical extras booked as soon as possible!

You are visiting at such an exciting time. Not only is 18th December my birthday, but you will also be able to enjoy all the magic of the Disney Enchanted Christmas season. Definitely keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as it shouldn’t be too long before more details of the season are announced. One thing we do know is that World of Frozen will be part of the festive celebrations!

Guests staying at a Disney Hotel with a Hotel + Ticket Package booked directly through Disneyland Paris can add magical extras, including the Reserved Viewing Area for shows such as Disney Tales of Magic and Disney Cascade of Lights, at the time of booking or as soon as they become available. At the moment, bookings are available for shows up to the end of September, so I would keep checking the Disneyland Paris app every so often for your December dates.

If you booked directly with Disneyland Paris, adding these to your package is really simple. You can contact Cast Members through the online chat on the Disneyland Paris website, or reach out to them on Facebook or Instagram. Be sure to have your booking confirmation number to hand.

If you booked through a third party, including Walt Disney Travel Company International, you can begin booking magical extras, including reserved viewing for shows, 7 days before your arrival.

I hope this helps, Stewart, and I hope you have the most festive time when you visit! If you have any other vacation planning questions, please reach out to me. I’d love to help!

    See ya real soon!
