Ahoy, Bryan! I am thrilled to welcome you to planDisney as you prepare to hear that oh-so-magical "Welcome Aboard" greeting as you set sail on your
Disney Cruise Line adventure!
The simple answer to your question is that
each member of your stateroom gets the same benefits as the Guest with the highest Castaway Club level. My husband and I went on a kid-free Disney Cruise, so we reached Platinum before our sons. When it was time to book our Port Adventures and onboard activities on our first cruise with Platinum, I could book for all of us 120 days before our cruise, even though my kids were Gold. Now, there is one caveat we discovered that my boys used to try to guilt us again about cruising without them: the lanyards were Castaway Club level specific. Ours were Platinum; theirs were Gold.
With one person at the Gold level, you can select Port Adventures
105 days before your cruise and check in 35 days ahead for everyone in your stateroom, giving you more options for an earlier Port Arrival Time. You would also get the stateroom gift and other benefits created to celebrate Guests who have reached Gold.
Did you see the
new itineraries that were announced earlier this week? I have a
Halloween on the High Seas cruise in my sights for 2026. These cruises have early booking dates for
Castaway Club members. If one person in your stateroom is Gold, you can book these late 2026 and early 2027 itineraries starting Wednesday, August 27, before they become available to the general public on September 2.
Bryan, I hope this information helps. If you have any other questions as you go from Disney dreaming to Disney planning,
planDisney is here for you!
SEAS the Adventure!
