We are booking disneyland park hopper max pass tickets, I want to make sure I'm doing this correctly. There are no dates as an option to select. It is for three days in mid October. When you purchase, you just buy tickets but there are no dates?

    Welcome, Patricia!

You seem very well-prepared for your Disneyland Resort vacation! With your Park Hopper tickets with Disney MaxPass purchased, you are nearly ready to simply show up at the Main Entrance to the parks and enjoy your visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Most Disneyland Resort theme park tickets are not tied to a particular date. The usual exception is Special Event Tickets, such as for Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party, which will always be tied to a specific date. Even one-day tickets are not necessarily tied to a particular date, though it may appear so when making the ticket purchase. The online store interface for one-day tickets asks for the date of the planned visit in order to direct guests to purchase the correct level of tickets for the desired date: “Value,” “Regular,” or “Peak.” While one-day tickets have this graduated level of ticket value, multi-day tickets are uniform throughout the year.

Your Park Hopper tickets may be used as-is any day up until they expire. Most multi-day tickets expire 13 days after their first use or after the expiration date printed on the tickets. Tickets currently being sold directly by the Disneyland Resort expire after January 12, 2021.

Once your Disney eTickets are purchased, you may link them into the Disneyland app right away. You may then choose to use your mobile device for park admission. Whether on your mobile device or in print, your eTicket will be scanned at the turnstile. At that point, the eTicket will be converted to a regular ticket in the app and the Cast Member will give you a printed copy of your ticket as well.

Since MaxPass is included with your tickets, you’ll certainly want to use the Disneyland app to make your Disney FASTPASS selections. You may begin making selections the moment your tickets are scanned at the park entrance. And don’t forget your Disney PhotoPass photos. Unlimited downloads of your photos are included with MaxPass. I love all the wonderful memories we collect at the Disneyland Resort!

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Patricia!
