I will be booking a Disney fishing excursion for my husband for our upcoming trip late Feb. Is a tip for the guide included in the price of the excursion, or should we tip in addition? My husband is hoping for an 8 pounder!

Jennifer since I grew up in Wisconsin I understand the need for the big fish on the end of a line! I have done the Disney fishing excursions many times and can tell you it is quite exciting to reel in a big one.. It is even more exciting to keep reeling them in time after time after time!  That has happened many times for me and I hope a trip out on the lakes in late February will be as successful for your husband!

You are not required to tip your fishing guide but we always do separately after our trip. Especially if he or she has found a hot spot and has been so kind as to bait our hooks and take the fish off. Unfortunately, we have even had to have them extract a hook from a neck or two if the kids are along!  This will be completely up to you whether to give anything extra for your guide and you can go prepared but wait to see what kind of experience you have.  I believe a tip is surely for services above and beyond what is being paid for in the first place.

Good luck and hope he finds the monster of Disney lurking below the waters! Make sure he takes his camera for pictures!
