Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Charles!
You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! Thanks so much for dropping by with your question. You must be getting so excited –– your Walt Disney World Resort visit is just over 60 days away! As it just so happens, you're getting ready to experience one of my favorite parts of the entire Disney planning process...
making your advance dining reservations. Not only does this mean you'll get to spend the next few days dreaming up all those delicious meals that are coming your way, but once that booking window opens, it means your visit is officially right around the corner!
When that magical booking date finally arrives, you'll be able to
book your reservations beginning at 6 AM EST. Here's a little tip, though –– it's often possible to book your reservations beginning as early as 5:45 AM. For that reason, I recommend setting an alarm (or three) bright and early so you can start checking for reservations ahead of 6 AM. Admittedly, this can be hit or miss –– sometimes I'm able to book early, and sometimes it's right at 6 AM on the dot, but with the chance of scoring that perfect table on the line, it's worth a try, right?
Another thing to keep in mind is that Walt Disney World dining availability changes all the time, so try not to get discouraged if the table you were hoping to get is unavailable right at the 60-day mark. Just be sure to keep checking as your date approaches and there's a great chance that the reservation you're looking for will pop up. Since Walt Disney World
requires you to secure your dining reservations with a credit card for most restaurants, it's also not unusual to see availability open up right 72-24 hours before a reservation slot. Because Guests must cancel before 12 AM EST on the day of their reservation to avoid a charge, you can have great luck finding a table as that deadline approaches.
Thanks for visiting planDisney, Charles. No matter where you choose to dine during your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit, I hope it's filled with delicious dishes from start to finish!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
