Hi Moms, booking dining in 2 weeks, we will have a 4 month old baby, do I include them in my reservation? We eat at a lot of signature restaurants, is the dining plan worth buying, thanks for all your help

    Hi Lisa!

It won't be long before you will be seeing the magical entrance to the Walt Disney World resort and your vacation can begin.

When booking any dining reservation you need to definitely include all members of the family no matter what their age. This is for the restaurant to know how large of a table you will need to be seated at. Most of the signature locations will not allow strollers inside so you will need a high chair or a chair for a carrier for the baby. Of course you will not be charged any fee for the infant but they do need to be included in the number.

Deciding on a Dining Plan is an important part of the planning. My family chooses not to go that route as we don't want to be bothered keeping track of points or credits. We also dine at mostly signature spots at least once a day.  You can check the average cost of a meal at many of these restaurants by looking them up on line. From that you can easily see if your dining habits would be a better value by using a dining plan or if you would be better off doing this on your own.

Have a wonderful vacation and enjoy introducing the newest member of the family to the world of the mouse!
