when booking dining reservations do we include my 1 year old as a person? It seems we get a better selection with a party of 2 instead of 3?

    Hi Kim!

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question - I'm happy to help!

I'm happy to hear you're busy working on your Advance Dining Reservations prior to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. It's so nice to have your meals planned out ahead of time when visiting the theme parks, and there's over 100 awesome restaurants to choose from!

When making dining reservations, you'll need to include the total number of ALL guests, including children, regardless of age. This is to make sure guests are assigned to tables that are large enough to accommodate their dining party (including high chairs for little ones). Restaurants also need to remain within fire safety code regulations regarding guest capacity.

Hopefully you'll be able to secure reservations at all of your favorite Walt Disney World restaurants on your upcoming vacation. Keep in mind that guests are still adjusting their plans up until 24 hours prior to their dining reservations, and you can sometimes score last-minute availability!

Thanks again for stopping by - have a magical day! - Diane W.
