    When booking dining reservations it had my daughter's age as 9. This time when we are traveling she will be 11. I paid for the adult plan but on the reservations that I made before updating her age it has her listed as a child. Will this be an issue?

    Hey Heather-

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The food at Walt Disney World Resort restaurants is spectacular. My family has our favorites and we try each trip to experience a new dish.

    Disney Dining Plans are fantastic because you get wonderful food and don’t have to worry about cooking or cleaning. We are all appreciative of Mickey and the gang for taking care of those chores. You have a couple of options to remedy the child/adult issue. The first would be to call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). When you speak with the Cast Member just update your your party’s information. The second option is to wait until you arrive at the restaurant and let them know the correct number adults and children in your party. The most important issue is that you have the correct Disney Dining Plan purchased for each Guest: adult plans for adults and child plan for children.

    Disney Dad Tip: If you have Counter/Quick-Service Meal Credits remaining as your trip is coming to a close and you want something sweet instead of a meal then you may exchange one Counter/Quick-Service Meal Credit for three snacks as long as it is in the same transaction. Let the Cast Member know that you would like to make this swap and they will be glad to help you.
