When booking dining 180 days out can I add to our reservation someone from Florida who is meeting us for day and not staying overnight?

    Hi Sheryle,

Absolutely! Walt Disney World dining reservations can be made 180 days in advance whether or not you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort. As a semi-local, I often make the 90-minute drive to Walt Disney World for a day visit. We make dining reservations for those trips in the same way we do when we are spending the weekend.

You should include every potential member of your dining party in your reservation. It's always easier to reduce the size of your party than to add members. It's also important for the restaurant to know the exact number who will be dining so that you have the right sized table and so that the restaurant can manage capacity for safety reasons.

Do you know where you want to make reservations? If you'd like recommendations, please check back with us. We Disney Parks Moms Panel members love to talk Disney dining and are happy to share our thoughts and favorites.

    Enjoy, Sheryle!
