Hi Mackenzie!
Congratulations on the upcoming arrival of your bambino! Your world may be all about preparing for your little one’s arrival right now, but I’m glad you had the foresight to also look to the future and plan a Disney cruise for 2022! Teaching kids from a young age to go with the flow and see different parts of the world is a brilliant way to condition them to be global travelers. Hey, it definitely worked for my family!
I recommend that you go ahead and make your cruise reservation, and a
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planning Specialist can add a placeholder for your child to the booking. This will also ensure that you get more accurate pricing for your cruise fare to have your baby added from the very beginning. Once your bundle of joy has made an entrance into the world, you would just update your reservation to include your child’s name and information.
Sounds like you already know the
minimum age requirements, but I still have to mention that Guests on Disney Cruise Line have to be at least 6 months old on the day of sailing, and for Transatlantic, Panama Canal or Hawaii cruises, your child would have to be at least one year old to sail. So just make sure you only select itineraries that meet these criteria.
Disney Cruise Line makes
traveling with little ones a snap: from complimentary diaper disposal units, bottle warmers, bottle sterilizers, cribs, and playpens, they are all available upon request. Since these items are in limited supply, I would request them as soon as you board the ship at Guest Services (Deck 3, Midship).
Mackenzie, WISHing you all the best during this special time in your life and a blessed baby to join your family. Oh yeah, and have a fabulous cruise!
SEA ya real soon!
