Booking cruise for 3/2015, multiple families, how do we book so that we can pay separately & get most savings by adding additional staterooms together. when the balance is due, we would like to get past December before paying in full, thanks so much. :

    Hi Andrea!
Welcome to the Moms Panel - thanks for stopping by with your question. Looks like you are in the first planning stages for your cruise with Captain Mickey. I'll be happy to help!

On our first Disney Cruise, we sailed with several families. We found it very helpful and convenient to book through an Authorized Disney Travel Planner. She was able to link our reservations together, and we were able to pay separately. After paying our initial deposit, (20 percent of the cruise fare), we worked with her to schedule a monthly payment plan that worked for us. It made it simple, and helped us budget how much we needed to set aside each month to pay for our magical vacation! Keep in mind that final payments must be made between 75 and 150 days before sailing, depending on the category and itinerary. You'll need to make sure that this works with the January dates you have in mind for paying in full.

When booking a cruise with multiple families, you can always request connecting staterooms. What fun to have your friends and family right next door, with the ability to open the door between you to visit. Some verandah staterooms even have connecting verandahs that offer more space to share and spend time together.

Let the planning begin! Please come back and visit if you have any more questions.
    Have a magical day! - Diane W.
