Hello Staci and welcome back to planDisney!
Thank you for cruising our way again as you plan to set sail with Captain Mickey. From the arrival date you provided, it looks like you will be sailing on the
Disney Dream. And what a dreamy vacation it would be to add your sister to your sailing crew!
My first recommendation to you, Staci, is to
contact Disney Cruise Line. The first order of business will be to identify if
your stateroom will be able to accommodate up to four sailors. If it does provide the necessary sleeping spaces, that's great! The next thing that the amazing Guest Service agents will need to look into will be regarding the amount of Guests in your specific zone of the ship. From a safety standpoint, the amount of Guests sailing in a specific zone will need to match with the lifeboat capacity for that zone. If adding your sister to your stateroom will provide her both a bed and the necessary safety accommodations, you should be good to go!
It's important to note that the Disney Cruise Line reserves the right to restrict any changes made to reservations, and those changes are always subject to availability. With that information in mind, I'd recommend that your sister attempt to shore up her vacation plans as soon as possible. I understand that isn't always easy, so I'm sending pixie dust your way that it will all work out.
Staci, I hope that you enjoy your time with your family sailing on the Disney Cruise Line. It won't be long before it will be time to
pack your bags and head off for adventure. If you have any more questions between now and then, please drop us a line. We'd love to assist in any way that we can!
Bon Voyage!
