If we are booking character dining experiences, is it better to try to book them on line or call? Is it true that we can book one day before our arrival date if we are staying on on the premises?

Hello Ann Marie and thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
In my opinion Character Dining experiences really are the most fun way to meet and interact with beloved Disney favourites from Mickey Mouse at Chef Mickey's to Lilo and Stitch at 'Ohana; they're all wonderfully magical!
Because most Character Meals can be hugely popular with many Guests I would definitely recommend planning and making your Advanced Dining Reservations up to 180 days in advance via My Disney ExperienceMy Disney Experience Mobile App or by speaking with a Cast Member on 407 939 3463.
If I can help sprinkle any extra pixie dust onto your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation, please pop back to ask me anther question.
    Have a great Disney day.
