Is booking a cabana in Disneyland in the beginning of October worth of it?

Hi Heather! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send this question our way. I'm glad you found us!

If you could ask my husband, he would tell you that I will always say "yes" when it comes to adding extra magic to our Disney Parks vacations. I love doing things that make our stay at a Disney Resort Hotel even more relaxing and memorable! So my answer is, yes, it is worth it, no matter the time of year. If you plan to spend the day by the pool, a Poolside Cabana is the perfect way to plus-up your pool time. What I love most about reserving a cabana is that I don't have to hurry to the pool to save a spot for our family. When you reserve a cabana, not only are you guaranteeing that you will have a nice, relaxing spot, but one that includes some great amenities! I feel especially spoiled that a Cast Member checks in and takes food and beverage orders.

The cabanas can be popular and are limited, so I think it's a great idea to go ahead and book one as soon as the reservation window opens up, 60 days before the date you would like to reserve. In the event that there is inclement weather, the cabana rental may be canceled by the resort hotel, however, you will not be penalized in this case. If you change your mind about renting a cabana, you just need to cancel at least 24 hours in advance.

As you're planning your vacation at The Happiest Place on Earth, please feel free to send us any additional questions you may have at planDisney. We can't wait for you to be our guest, and we would love to help!

    Happy Planning!
    Smiles,
