Is there a way other than booking a breakfast reservation before Animal Kingdom opens to get close to Avatar so the line won't be so long? We can not get FP because they are already booked.

Hey, Shelly! My daughter and I visited Pandora - The World of Avatar last month and I discovered a few tips that will have you yelling, "Sivako!" on the back of your banshee as quickly as possible. FastPass+ is definitely the easiest way to experience Avatar: Flight of Passage. However, I know securing a FastPass+ for this attraction is very difficult at this time. There is not a way to get an early jump inside the park, so let's talk about some things I learned on my visit to the land of the Na'vi.

The main thought I want to stress to you is that early is best. Let's make that your new mantra. On the day we visited, my daughter and I left our resort around 6:30 a.m. (for an 8:00 a.m. Extra Magic Hour opening) to head to the park. There were quite a few guests already there when we arrived. A quick tip here - be sure to look at all bag check tables for the shortest or even empty line. If you see an empty one, don't be shy about asking if it will also open. I asked, and we ended up being first in line for a bag check table. This helped save a lot of time when the park opened!

Once the park opens, walk with purpose but don't run! The Cast Members will gather guests at different stages and slowly move towards the Valley of Mo'ara, so try to stay with your family and know that your wait will not be too long if you took the time to arrive early. Remember the mantra "early is best" that we discussed? Arriving right at park opening can put you behind a LOT of guests. This happened with two families I know that were present the day we visited and they had a long wait in the queue once they made it in.

Shelly, do keep trying to secure FastPass+ for your group as guests do change their plans. You never know when you may find some! If not, just set your alarm clocks, pack some breakfast bars in your backpack and set out early in search of an adventure.
