We have a booking on 14th August 2019 for the pirates and pals dessert voyage, do we have to book a meal ourselves before we get on or is it done for you, many thanks

Ahoy, Ian! It's going to be a pirate's life for you when you attend the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage. During this experience, you and your buccaneer crew will have the opportunity to visit with Captain Hook and Mr. Smee before you set out on a boat voyage to find the perfect spot for viewing the Happily Ever After Fireworks. Prior to boarding your vessel, you will also be treated to some delicious refreshments that are included with your booking of the event. Although the food served will be quite a spread, it will be snack items, desserts, and beverages. If you wish to have a more substantial meal before your voyage, you will need to take care of that on your own.

You will want to allow yourselves plenty of time to arrive for your event. You and your pirate crew will need to arrive at the lobby of Disney's Contemporary Resort 10 minutes prior to the start of the event. The Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage begins one hour and 15 minutes prior to the scheduled fireworks time. You can confirm the fireworks start time by asking a Cast Member, by checking a times guide for Magic Kingdom Park, or using your My Disney Experience mobile app. The Contempo Cafe would be a great place to grab a lite bite to eat before setting out on your swashbuckling adventure.

Wishing you many Walt Disney World Resort memories to treasure!
