We are booking an Adventures By Disney tour to Disneyland. We are hoping to book a flight that arrives as early as possible. How early can we be picked up from the airport? If other guests haven’t arrived yet, can we visit the theme parks until they come?

Hi Anthony, thank you for dropping by planDisney with your questions. I am so thrilled to hEAR you will be embarking on a magical Adventures by Disney tour to the Happiest Place on Earth.

There are actually two Adventures by Disney itineraries that explore Disneyland Resort. Based on your indicated arrival day, I’m guessing you will be enjoying the 4-day Adventures by Disney Disneyland Resort and Southern California Escape. On this particular itinerary, not only will you get to explore both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, you’ll also get behind-the-scenes tour of The Walt Disney Studios and Disney Archives, a private tour of Walt Disney Imagineering, and even step into Walt’s Apartment above the Main Street Firehouse in Disneyland Park.

When you make your reservation, you’ll be connected to a Vacationista who will coordinate an Adventures by Disney representative who will meet you when you arrive at the airport (John Wayne Airport – SNA, Los Angeles International Airport – LAX or Long Beach Airport – LGB). You’ll then be escorted to the beautiful Craftsman-style Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. It’s my favorite place to stay when I’m visiting the Disneyland Resort. I love the close proximity to the theme parks and a special dedicated entry to Disney California Adventure Park. Since a 4-day Park Hopper ticket is included in your Adventures by Disney vacation, you can actually take the opportunity on the first day to explore the theme parks before meeting your fellow Adventurers at the Welcome Dinner.

A great Mouseketool to explore the Disneyland Resort is the Disneyland Mobile app. You can use it to check attraction wait times, browse restaurant menus and order food and beverage at select establishments, make dining reservations and also view Disney PhotoPass photos.

Alternatively, with your 4-day Park Hopper pass, you might consider departing later on your last day (Day 4) so that you can have more time to explore the theme parks. Your Vacationista can better assist you with your Adventures by Disney itinerary. They are more than happy to assist you with further trip planning, and you can contact them directly by calling (800) 543-0865 Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST.

As you’re aware, Anthony, Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels remain temporarily closed. Itinerary is subject to change, particularly due to the uncertainty of the current pandemic. As your trip gets closer, please stay tuned to AdventuresbyDisney.com, Disneyland.com and Disney Parks Blog for official news and latest updates.

Anthony, please visit us on planDisney again real soon. We are all EARS to help you plan your next trip to the Most Magical Trip on Earth!
