Hi Shelley!
A trip to Walt Disney World sounds like a fantastic way to ring in 2013!
You're very wise to be planning ahead & beginning your dining reservations as soon as you hit that 180 day mark! I'm sure you'll be able to get all your top choices with your great strategy!
You shouldn't have a problem using 2 computers to process your
Dining Reservations Online and work as team getting through your list. When you select and confirm each time slot for your desired dining locations & experiences, the system will ask you to sign in using your Walt Disney World online log-in information. You will not, in effect, be "using" your dining plan 'per se' as you reserve, you will simply be
linking your resort reservation (and associated dining plan) to the meal reservation.
I'd recommend prioritizing your list by date (New Year's Eve dinner will be in high demand) & by location (popular spots like 'Ohana, California Grill, Le Cellier & character dining fill up very quickly) & work in a descending order based on your wish list.
For meals requiring credit card authorization to hold the reservation, (some character meals, dinner shows & signature dining locations) you will still need to input your cc information and agree to the cancellation policies. Your card will not be charged for the meal as you'll present your Key To The World Card and dining plan information at the time of the meal.
With each completed reservation, you'll receive email confirmation & be able to see your full list of dining plans with resort reservation in the system online.
If you'd like assistance with dining decisions or recommendations, please do visit again!
Wishing you a Magical time as you plan your fabulous vacation Shelley!
