We're bookending our 1st cruise with trips to the parks in Feb and I'm wondering how to pack. I know layers are good for days at the park that time of year and evenings can be chilly, but swimsuits for Castaway Cay? Sweaters? Windy at sea?

    Ahoy, Karen -

A Land and Sea vacation is my kind of vacation! How awesome that you and your whole family will have the magic flowing as you go through your vacation itinerary! Packing your outfits for the parks and for the cruise will have some similarities. The weather will usually be a tad bit warmer out in the Bahamas or the Caribbean compared to the temps in Orlando. You'll likely re-use your sweater onboard -- since it does get a little chilly in the evenings. The ocean breeze can be brisk while out at sea, while you enjoy a moonlit stroll on the decks.

The weather can change in a split second as know, but don't let that stop you from bringing swim suits. The beautiful beaches (and the warm pools) will be calling you... and you'll want to take a dip. And the kids? I bet they'll be hitting the water and the weather might not even matter to them :-). Layers are definitely a great idea.

There's so much to do at Castaway Cay. I hope that you get lovely weather during your voyage.

    Bon voyage, Karen!
