Hi all. Just bookedour trp to WDW for 01/22/2012. Shhh it's a surprise Christmas gifts for our 5 n 9 DD. Staying at the Music resort. Can we go to POFQ and catch the boat to downtown. My girls would lovvve to take the boat. Do you have to be staying there?

Hi David!

Wow, it is so awesome that you are going to surprise your daughters with a trip to Walt DIsney World! I have great news for you! Anyone can use any form of Walt Disney World transportation including boats even if they are not staying at that particular Resort. For example, if you were at the Magic Kingdom, you could take a bus that is going to the Port Orleans French Quarter and then a boat from the French Quarter to Downtown Disney. After you are done at Downtown Disney, you could take bus from Downtown Disney back to the All Star Music Resort. There are also boats (the Friendship Boats) that go between Epcot and Hollywood Studios which is an awesome journey by water as well!

I hope that all of your travels around Walt Disney World are truly magical!
