Hi there, Raina!
Welcome back to planDisney. I am so happy to see that my planDisney friends were able to answer your previous questions, and now it is my turn!
The
World of Color Dessert Party is my favorite evening experience! Watching this incredible performance while relaxing in my own chair (yay for chairs!) is the best way to end a fun day at
Disneyland Resort! I am going to answer your questions out of order (I hope that is ok!). As far as the best place to sit, you truly cannot go wrong. I prefer to sit in the center of the reserved viewing area, but I have sat in multiple spots for the party and had a fantastic view each time. Usually, low-top tables are in the front of the section, and high-top tables are in the back. I like sitting in the low-top tables when my kids are with me. It is easier for them to get out of the lower chairs when they need to move around. On the other hand, the high-top tables with director's chairs are great for older kids and adults.
I chatted with Cast Member Helen to verify the other two questions. She said that the Guest listed on the reservation can most likely check in and pick up the party wristbands without the rest of their party. I have done this a few times (I wanted to make sure my information was still correct). It is ultimately up to the Cast Member who is checking you in, but I haven't had any issues with doing this in the past. Helen also said that your server can let you know if there are limitations on who can receive any special cups. In my experience, the servers at the World of Color Dessert Party are very accommodating and do their best to make their Guests happy.
Raina, I hope you enjoy this special experience during the
holidays at Disneyland Resort! Please reach out to planDisney again if you have additional questions.
Believe in Holiday Magic!
