Hi Pamela,
Thanks for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel about your upcoming trip to the
Disneyland Resort and the
World of Color Dining Package at the
Disney California Adventure Park!
I think you made a good call in booking this particular dining package.
The World of Color is an incredible nighttime show with a Magical combination of fire, fountain, fog and laser effects!
Once you've booked the World of Color Dining Package, make sure you arrive at
Ariel's Grotto at the specified time. Once there, each person in your party must order the prix fixe meal in order to obtain a voucher for admission to the World of Color reserved viewing area. Your server will hand you the vouchers after payment of your dining experience. The vouchers will list the exact location of your viewing area, time you should arrive and the actual performance time. By the way, reserved viewing areas are separate from the dining location and they're standing only, however, accommodations can be made for guests with disabilities.
Unless you have a reason to believe you won't make it to your dining reservation, I wouldn't worry about obtaining
FASTPASS, especially when your dining package guarantees a viewing area that will allow you to appreciate the show from a very unique perspective.
I hope this answers your questions.
Have a wonderful time!
