Hi, Maureen!
Well, you've picked three beautiful resorts, so I can see why you are torn!
To be honest, I am an avid fan of the
Disney Dining Plan because it allows my family to sit down at a fantastic Walt Disney World restaurant and order any entree without worrying about it's price; we've already paid for it. The DDP has allowed us to save so much $ over the years, as we research which restaurants offer the most luxurious options and book our Advanced Dining Reservations accordingly.
If you don't have your heart set on keeping your reservation at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, I think you'll find
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge equally spectacular. Be sure to request a Savannah View room so that you'll get to enjoy watching the residents of the savannah from the comfort of your own balcony. We can't get enough of it! Animal Kingdom is just a few minutes' ride on a resort bus, making your trip there very convenient.
If proximity to
two parks and nighttime entertainment is more important to you, then take a look at
Disney's Beach Club Resort. You'll have walking and boat access to both Disney's Hollywood Studios as well as Epcot.
Disney's BoardWalk, too, is a great place to spend a fun evening, without even needing a park ticket.
In short, if I were to be able to stay at either of the two resorts which are available with a free Dining Plan for less $ than a stay without Dining at Wilderness Lodge, I would do it in a heartbeat. It's a win-win, Maureen!
Send more questions as you think of them, too, Maureen; we love to help!
