I booked the Wishes Dessert Party for the end of January. It says my time is 6:20pm. Disney's calendar for the night we are attending says the fireworks start at 9pm. I thought the parrty was one hour prior to the fireworks.

    Hi, Rebecca!

I'm so glad you stopped by with your question because this has been a bit confusing to Guests. I noticed the same thing when I booked the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party for my family's upcoming trip in the Spring so I called Disney to find out what was going on. Since fireworks schedules are always subject to change, the Party is now listed at a specific time but you are correct, Guests should arrive at Tomorrowland Terrace one hour prior to the fireworks scheduled start time that evening. I recommend that you pick up a Times Guide when you enter Magic Kingdom Park just to double-check the schedule.

On another note, I recommend saving lots of room in your tummy for all of the unbelievably decadent desserts that you're in store for. The selection is amazing and the each dessert is more delicious than the one before. The view of the fireworks cannot be beat either; it's such a magical Party!

Thanks so much for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Rebecca! Please let us know if we can help with any other questions you have as you continue planning.

Wishing you and your family a Pixie Dusted vacation!
