I booked the Wilderness Lodge in Dec. and received a courtyard view. Can you what that is and is there a view of the water? If not, can I upgrade when I get there?

    Hi Bill,

Thanks for your question about my very favorite resort in the whole world.  You are going to love Disney's Wilderness Lodge, especially in December when the resort is decked out in its holiday decorations.  Just wait until you see the towering Christmas tree in the awe-inspiring main lobby!

Rooms with courtyard views at this resort are already in the highest category, unless of course you are switching to a suite or concierge-level room.  A courtyard view will afford you a view of either Silver Creek Springs Pool at the center of the main resort or the Hidden Springs Pool found in front of the Villas at Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  If you like to see all that is going on surrounding the main pool of the resort, then make a request on your reservation noting your preference for a view of Silver Creek Springs Pool.  If you'd prefer a more isolated, quiet room then a view of Hidden Springs Pool is a better choice.  In either case, you will get a better view of Bay Lake if you ask to be far from the lobby.

If you have any additional questions about Disney's Wilderness Lodge, please don't hesitate to ask.  I'd love to tell you anything that might make your vacation extra special.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
