I just booked a weeks vacation for December with my family and bought the meal plan but every restaurant i try to make a reservation in is completely booked. What should I do if we cant use our table service meals that we bought?

    Hello Rosemary!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with an excellent question!

December is a very popular time of the year for Guests to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. The spirit of the holidays is everywhere, and there is nothing more magical than visiting the place where dreams come true during the merriest time of the year.

Dining reservations open 180 days in advance, so that is why many of your favorite locations no longer have available tables during your visit. I have two suggestions. The first one is to make your dining reservations using the My Disney Experience mobile app, because you will be able to search all available restaurants by date. When you select your party size and date, you get a list of all restaurants and then you are able to filter by Walt Disney World Resort location and make your selections. If you book online then you need to visit each individual restaurant website.

My second suggestions is, if you have your heart set on certain locations, then just keep swimming! Keep trying because there are still weeks to go before your visit, and other Guests may cancel their reservations or change their plans. You need to insist and keep checking constantly, that’s how I managed to find hard to get reservations for a friend visiting during Christmas week.

I hope this helps you, Rosemary. I am sending pixie dust your way and I hope that you are able to make great dining reservations.

    Best magical wishes,
