I Just booked my WDW vacation for July 26th to August 1st. I know its hard to predict but does anyone have advice on how the weather is for that final week of july. Obviously it is hot but what about rain. Any predicitons?

    Hi there, Rob!

While it's easy for me, a Florida resident, to throw out the words "hot" and "rainy," I think it's only fair to offer you some historical data to support the claim and offer you some specifics.

According to the National Weather Service, the mean high for Orlando in July (over a 68-year continuum) is 92F. The standard low temperature for Orlando in July over the same time period is 73F.

The high on the last day of the month averages 92 degrees F; the low on the last day of the month averages 73 degrees F.

Orlando receives an average of 7.15 inches of precipitation during July. The most precipitation measured in a single day was 8.19 inches on July 25, 1960.

While it does not rain every day in July, you'll find that a poncho might very well come in handy. And obviously, you will want to stay hydrated while you're here! Think loose-fitting clothing, cotton, light colors, and shorts.

    Have a great time!

    See you later, celebrator,
    -Deborah B.
