Hi, I've just booked for WDW October 2nd to 16th, and realised that MNSSHP will be on. I already have park tickets, but will we have to leave the park early on the nights of the party? Do we have to purchase a separate ticket? I'm soooo excited 😀

Hi, Kathryn! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Ah, I see the ghosts and goblins of Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be out to play during your Walt Disney World trip. Lucky you! It's a whole lot of spook-tacular fun, with a special parade, characters decked out in their costumed best, and of course a chance to do some trick-or-treating. It's definitely on our list of must-do's!

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separate ticketed event, meaning your regular Theme Park tickets aren't valid for entry. If you happen to be in the Magic Kingdom on party day, the park will close to day Guests at 7 p.m., as the not-so-scary fun gets underway. If you decide to buy tickets and take part in all the Halloween happenings, Guests attending the party are usually allowed to enter the park as early as 4 p.m.

I hope you have happy hauntings during your Walt Disney World vacation, Kathryn. But watch out, or a ghost may follow you home!

    Keep Disney Dreaming,

    Kathy K.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
