I booked Walt's Main Street Story Tour with a friend. Only she can no longer travel to Disneyland. My brother is coming along in her place. Can he take the tour in her place? How do I transfer the reservation to his name?

    Hi, Nanda!

Welcome to planDisney! You are in for a treat with Walt's Main Street Story Tour! Not only do you learn behind-the-scenes tidbits about Disneyland Resort, but you also get to visit Walt Disney's apartment above the Disneyland Fire Station in Town Square. When I participated in a similar tour, I may have become a little teary-eyed standing in Walt's apartment. It was such a special moment!

I'm sorry that your friend can't visit Disneyland with you, but I'm glad to hear that your brother saved the day (and the trip)! I recommend contacting the "Guest Information" line to see if you can change the name on your reservation. The Tour Guides usually provide cute name tags so it's nice to have the correct name ahead of time. Just make sure you and your brother purchase your theme park tickets and make park reservations for Disneyland Park for the day of your tour.

When you arrive in the United States, I recommend downloading the Disneyland mobile app. It is a handy tool to help you maximize your time in the parks. On it, you can view wait times, make Disney Genie+ Lighting Lane reservations, mobile order food, and more! It can also be used to join any available walk-up lists for Table-Service restaurants.

Nanda, I hope you and your brother have an incredible experience on Walt's Main Street Story Tour! Feel free to contact us again if you have other questions.
