    Hi I've just booked to visit in 2017. Can you advise whether you are able to pay for things (souvenirsm etc) in the parks with cash or do you have to charge to your room. I think I would get to carried away if I was charging everything.

    It sounds like you have a wonderful vacation on the horizon! I think you are very smart to plan ahead. I definitely understand wanting to stick to a budget and you are so right that it can be easy to get carried away!

    Using your MagicBand to charge your purchases is certainly convenient, but it is not the only option. You may pay with credit card, cash and even Disney Gift Cards in almost all locations throughout the parks. Feat not! Your budget does not have to be in danger.
