I booked the VIP parade package at Tony’s Restaurant for lunch but I haven’t found a confirmation on whether or not I can use dining credits from our plan for the lunch. Is it included in the dining plan or will we have to pay separately for this meal?

    Hi Jennifer!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My family loves Tony's Town Square Restaurant and we have done the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package. When I booked this package recently, I received an email confirmation. That confirmation indicated that the Disney Dining Plan and the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan would be accepted and that the meal would require one table-service entitlement per person. Remember that dining plans cover guests ages 3-years old and over. I always advise guests to double-check as trip dates get closer and upon arrival as guidelines and prices are subject to change!

At your dining experience, the cast member who serves you will give you the vouchers for your parade viewing access. When we last did this experience, a member of my family (who shall remain nameless), misplaced her voucher after we were seated in the reserved area across from the restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A. Although we had shown our vouchers to get access to the location, another cast member came by to check them before the parade started. Luckily, we found her voucher. I share this as a cautionary tale - keep up with those vouchers even after you are in the reserved area just in case they are checked again!

We absolutely loved the viewing location but be advised, you may be sitting or standing in the sun for a while before the parade actually gets to your area. We were there in the summer and I had to break out an umbrella to provide some shade while we waited.

Jennifer, I hope that your dining package is linked in your My Disney Experience Plans. If not, remember that you can add it. Just click on My Disney Experience, My Plans, and then Add Plans. To verify the number of entitlements a restaurant requires look for the link that says "Some Dining Plans Accepted" on the restaurant's website. If the restaurant accepts dining plans, you can click on that link and a pop-up menu should appear that shows you the number of entitlements required. Also, remember to use your My Disney Experience Mobile App to track your dining plan entitlement usage during your trip!

    Magic and memories,
