I just booked a VIP dining at Mama's in Hollywood to see the Fantasmic show at 815, but I see the Star Wars Spectacular is at 9:15...these will overlap won't they? or at minimum not allow enough time to get from one to another?

    Hi Dawn!

Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner - are you getting so excited?? Fantasmic! is my absolute favorite nighttime spectacular across all of Walt Disney World's four theme parks. Even having seen it multiple times I still love the magical elements and cheer loudly for our hero at the end.

Fantasmic! clocks in at half an hour. I see that during the week of your vacation there will be about 15 minutes between the end of Fantasmic! and the beginning of Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular. The locations of these two shows are somewhat close to each other, and a lot of people who want to experience both choose to sit near the top of the Fantasmic! theatre and on the end of a row so they can make a quick exit.

Lately people have started leaving Fantasmic! before the end of the show to get to the area where Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular is projected. I would like to discourage everyone from doing so because they miss the ending, which is where the best of the effects and magic play out. But also 15 minutes is plenty of time between the two shows to get from one to the other. My own family and I were at Walt Disney World Resort two weeks ago and we had a dinner reservation scheduled across the park for a time after Fantasmic! ended. We stayed for a few extra minutes to let the theatre traffic to clear, and by the time we made it to Hollywood Boulevard, Disney's Movie Magic, the 5 minute projection show before Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular, was still playing. So there's plenty of time between the two without sacrificing the ending of Fantasmic! Bonus tip - there was plenty of viewing space around the Dockside Diner.

I hope this helped, and We'll See You Real Soon Dawn!
