We booked a 2 BR Villa at Kidani for Jan - however there were no Savannah view villas available then. Will we see any animals from the 'standard' view? or is it just parking lot :( is there anyway to try to snag a Savannah view at this point? Thanks!

    Hi Rebecca!!!

I absolutely love Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village!!  I have stayed there on numerous Walt Disney World Vacations!!

I have been very fortunate to have a standard view room that I was still able to catch a glimpse of some of the animals on the savanna.  There are actually some walking paths from the animal housing areas to the savannas that go past the standard view rooms.  I was able to look to the right from my balcony and see the savanna and animals in the distance.

Upon checking in, I would ask the Cast Member if they can get you in a standard view room with as much of a savanna view as possible.  The Cast Members seem like they are very willing to accommodate this request, if possible.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!!

I hope this helps and that you have a magical day!!
