    I just booked my vacation(Monday Sept 9- Sept 14). I booked it taking into consideration that the Star Wars attraction will be opening, what has the crowds been like during previous attraction openings. I am concerned this will ruin my 3yo daughters trip.

    You have certainly chosen an exciting time to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! There are so many new and amazing things happening right now and in the upcoming months at the Walt Disney World Resort. I really think that you and your daughter will find that now more than ever, it's a great time to visit!

    One of the most anticipated happenings at the Walt Disney World Resort is the upcoming opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. This immersive new land will be unlike anything guests have ever experienced before. As such, it is hard to compare the anticipated crowd levels to previous attraction openings. Really any guess at how crowd levels will be affected by the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge would be pure speculation. I would recommend that you keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for any news and announcements related to the opening of this new land.

    What I can tell you for sure is that Walt Disney World Resort Cast Members are excellent at directing crowds, and I am sure that there will be a plan in place for handling the large number of guests wishing to visit a galaxy far, far away. I do not think you have to worry about anything ruining your daughter's visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth.

    I have found that the best way to handle visiting the Walt Disney World Resort during a busier time is to be prepared. The more you can plan in advance, the better off you will be if the parks are a bit more crowded than normal. You can find some helpful vacation planning tools online.
